AdvantageWest is pleased to announce its first Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council (BREC) Forum of 2007. Bob Wilson, Director of Technology 2020's Center for Entrepreneurial Growth (CEG) and A-B Tech’s Technology Commercialization Center (TCC) will lead an interactive program on Critical Issues in Building Your Business. This program is for management teams of entrepreneurial companies, focusing on execution issues at all stages of company development.
The BREC Forums will be held in Cullowhee on January 25th at Western Carolina University's Ramsey Center from 5:30-7:00 pm. In Asheville on January 30th at the A-B Tech Enka Campus in the Haynes Building, Large Conference Room from 5:30-7:00 pm. Visit Calendar of Events to register.
Bob Wilson is Executive Director of the TCC. His diverse background includes key roles in Fortune 500 and technology based start-up companies. He held executive management positions in a small technology company that had a successful IPO and sellout to larger Fortune 500 company. He has held numerous Fortune 500 and small company senior management positions in sales and marketing, operations, product development, services, and training. He also owned his own consulting company focused on coaching and developing technology-based start-ups. Bob also has experience with Board of Director roles, M&A experience, international markets, software and engineering based products, technology commercialization and licensing, partnership and alliance development, and industrial and professional services markets. In the past 5 years in his role as Director of the CEG for Tech 2020 in Knoxville, TN he has worked with over 70 start-up companies, and manages a staff of 5 high level resources in 4 formal programs.
